In my quality course at Purdue, my team represented Ice Mountain and compared the quality of our brand to its competitors such as Dasani and Aquafina. We compared the quality of these products using a weighted scorecard. To begin, we determined what dimensions we wanted to evaluate these products on.  We then conducted a survey to collect weights for each dimension.  The next step was to conduct a focus group that had all participants try all three samples and evaluate their experience. With the data collected, we were able to find out which brand was perceived to have the best quality. We then created a prioritization matrix and created an improvement plan to improve our product's quality compared to its competition.
